During July August 2020, COMSATS was featured as the ‘Partner of the Month’ by South-South Galaxy Platform of the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) as part of its initiative to promote organizations on their exceptional South-South and triangular cooperation efforts.

During the period, COMSATS was promoted on the social media channels of South-South Galaxy and UNOSSC. This was done by highlighting the organization’s vision, mission and objectives, good practices on South-South and Triangular cooperation, aided by visual material, information on key partners, and publications. COMSATS’ profile and initiatives were also projected in South-South Galaxy’s bi-monthly newsletter (https://www.southsouth-galaxy.org/comsats-south-south-cooperation-partner-of-the-month/).

Supported by UNOSSC, UN agencies and other development partners, the Galaxy is a global digital knowledge sharing and partnership-brokering platform. It provides South-South and triangular solutions, knowledge and information by connecting and linking all of the existing South-South knowledge sharing platforms developed by UN partners and other southern partners.
