Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, Executive Director COMSATS, called on the Federal Minister for Railways, Communication and Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ashraf Tarar. The meeting was held at Mr. Tarar’s office at Ministry of Railway, Islamabad, on November 28, 2023. Matters related to mutual understanding came under discussion.

Dr. Zakaria expressed pleasure and honour meeting the Minister. Introducing COMSATS, Dr. Zakaria introduced COMSATS as an intergovernmental org of 27 member states. He further discussed matters of common interest between COMSATS and esteemed Ministry of Railways, Communication & Maritime with a potential to lead to mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.

The Minister appreciated COMSATS’ mandate being pursued under Dr. Zakaria’s leadership and reciprocated the intent to working towards possible cooperation.
