Morocco’s provinces and municipalities of Al-Haouz, Marrakesh, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Chichaoua and Taroudant were struck with devastating earthquake last night, that took a huge toll on precious human lives, injured scores and inflicted heavy material losses.

Executive Director COMSATS, Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families in his messages to H.E. Prof. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation – COMSATS Focal Point for Morocco, and to the Ambassador for Morocco to Pakistan, H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Karmoune.
