Mr. Shahid Iqbal Baloch is a senior Pakistani civil servant and belongs to the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) group. Over his distinguished professional career, he has held several key positions in the Federal Board of Revenue. He has served as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue at the Large Taxpayers Office (Karachi), where he oversaw taxation matters for some of the country’s largest corporate entities.

After years of high-level administrative leadership and policy work, he was elevated to Grade 22, the highest tier in the civil service of Pakistan. Most recently, he has been appointed as the Secretary of the Science and Technology Division, where he is responsible for steering national policies, reforms, and strategic initiatives in the science and technology sector.

He holds an MBA from Iqra University, Karachi, and is widely regarded for his professionalism, commitment to public service, and strong administrative acumen.
