
The side event, organized within the framework of the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), will focus on the role of climate-smart agriculture in addressing land degradation, combating desertification, and enhancing soil health.
The session will bring together policymakers, researchers, development practitioners, and international organizations to exchange knowledge and experiences on sustainable agricultural practices that improve land productivity, strengthen resilience to climate change, and contribute to food security.
