ANSO-CPJRC-COMSATS International Training Workshop on Disaster Risk Reduction and Green Development for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor

INTRODUCTION
The China-Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Sciences (CPJRC), the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS), ANSO for Disaster Risk Reduction (ANSO-DRR), and the UNESCO Chair on Mountain Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience, with the support of the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions (ANSO), are jointly organizing a five-day international training workshop on ‘Disaster Risk Reduction and Green Development for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’.
The workshop is designed to enhance technical expertise and promote cross-border collaboration among researchers, scientists, and practitioners dedicated to disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, and sustainable green development along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

- Systematically grasp cutting-edge theories in disaster risk management.
- Master techniques for early warning, forecasting, and numerical simulation.
- Understand diverse pathways and institutional innovations in green development.
- Gain concrete insights and a quantitative perspective on BRI cooperation.
TARGET AUDIENCE
- Early career researchers and postgraduate students (MSc/PhD) pursuing studies in disaster risk reduction, climate change, environmental sciences, and sustainable development.
- Professionals and policymakers engaged in disaster management, climate adaptation, and related sectors.
- Representatives from COMSATS Member States and research institutions.
- Priority will be given to those who have published SCI-indexed journal articles relevant to these fields.
