Mr. Christy Ruban, Minister/ Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, visited the COMSATS Secretariat and held a meeting with the Executive Director COMSATS, Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Nafees Zakaria on 16th June 2026. Sri Lanka is an esteemed founding Member State of COMSATS.
The discussions focused on reviewing the longstanding relations and ongoing collaboration between Sri Lanka and COMSATS. Both sides expressed a shared commitment to further enhancing cooperation in the fields of education, research, and technology, particularly through leveraging the expertise and technical resources available at the COMSATS’ Network of International S&T Centres of Excellence to foster sustainable development in the Member States.
